Pre-registration is open for a new mobile game, Osomatsu-sanpo. Like Pokemon Go, users are supposed to find the sextuplets using their phones and walking around (“sanpo” means to stroll). Register at the new website: http://www.osomatsusanpo.com

To those wondering how to register: first and foremost, the game costs ¥240 to download when it goes live. This means you need a Japanese App Store ID (at least for iPhone), and then you need to buy a Japanese App Store gift card - in yen. This is a pretty convoluted process, but if you still wish to pre-register, first go here. 

Select your device, iPhone or Android. You’ll be taken to a site called yoyaku-top10. Click the giant, completely pink button (not the one with a present). Login via Twitter or Facebook (this is the easiest way if you can’t read Japanese). You may be prompted to then enter your device (iPhone or Android) and then your email address. You will then receive an email that your pre-registration has been received, and you’ll receive a download link when the game is live.

The pre-registration benefit is the more people pre-register, the more “MatsuCoin” will be handed out. MatsuCoin will be the in-game currency, much like HesoWars diamonds.
