One of the reasons why Sajou and Kusakabe’s relationship is a portrayal of a very healthy relationship. To them it is indeed “better half”. They are partners. They do not have the obsessive possession kind of attitude. It is not the aggressively possessive “you are mine” way of thinking. They belong to each other but they are still their own person. They don’t lose themselves in the relationship. They can still have their own sets of friends, go out and pursue their dreams. They don’t pin each other down. They are there for each other, supporting each other and growing together. That’s really very wonderful.
