Anonymous asked: Hello there. I have a question about Haikyuu manga since I don't read it, yet. Can you tell me if the manga is still good up to where it is now? I love the anime but I heard people saying the manga is declining as far as plot and feels go? Is that true? I'm really hyper for season 3 and I hope it will just as amazing as the other two seasons but I'm in doubt now. Also there will be there more scenes with Kagehina feels??? I love their development a lot (: Thanks in advance <3
I might sound biased since I really love Haikyuu!! a lot, but I think it’s still good from where it is now. True, it may have been a bit predictable, but that goes with most sports series and what’s more important is how it was done as compared to its predicted outcome.
okay listen, nekoma is going to nationals. y’all need to calm the heck down. tokyo’s finalists get to go to nationals, yes. so you’d think:
oh no nekoma lost so they aren’t going to go to nationals and they can’t do the battle of the trash heap !! nooO!!! furudate u suck!! WRONG.
because tokyo is the host they get three representatives. the losers of the semi finals play against each other for the third spot.
and the losers are nekoma and most likely the snake team. i mean WHY ELSE would furudate set up that whole seen between kuroo and their captain. they had to play at some point. but it wouldn’t be realistic for nekoma to win against fukurodani. so of course they lost.
but don’t worry they’re probably going to play the snake team an struggle their way to getting that third spot. it’s going to happen. it’s just how sports anime works. stop freaking out people.
Before half of the good people on my dashboard have heart attacks over the upcoming Tokyo match, please know that Nekoma and Fukurodani can still go to the National TOGETHER
Because Tokyo actually has three representative spots for Spring High.
Well, the real-life Tokyo does anyway.
This is how the tournament works: Out of Japan’s 47 prefectures, 43 will each send one team as its representative. The remaining four prefectures (Tokyo, Kanagawa, Hokkaido and Osaka) will send two teams each. In addition, the National Tournament’s host region (Tokyo) will be able to send one more team. As a result, the National will have a total of 52 teams.
Let’s say School A, B, C and D are Tokyo’s Final 4. So we have A vs B and C vs D. Let’s say the winners are A and C. These teams will be the prefecture’s two representatives in the National. They will also have a match to determine Tokyo’s regional champion.
B and D will also have a match: to fight for that third precious spot as the host region’s representative.
So my guess is Fukurodani and Itachiyama will win (Remember Sakusa, one of the top three aces mentioned by Kuro? He is with Itachiyama). And the cats will then have a showdown with the snakes.
Unless Furudate-sensei decides to scrape the host’s extra spot for whatever reason (to feast on our tears maybe?)… it is a fictional story afterall. Then we can all have heart attacks over the match together, I guess.
